2/21/2000: I ordered a new computer and have yet to get it working - that would explain my lack of updates to this page. I am now selling that piece of junk and buying something different. I am sure that I will have better luck with this product! It is a P3 500E. It should overclock to around 700 or so. Still ring shopping, however, I have not found anything that really excites me. The search continues! At work, I am now apparantely the website god! I have tons of sites to work on. It is pretty fun. I have learned a lot - including ASP (active server pages) I am thinking about getting my own domain, ie www.gillysplace.com or something like that. what do you think? 2/4/2000: Hot off the presses - Matt Vieley is now an Agriculture major (again). Story is that if he switched back to AG he would be done in 20 hours. However, Elementry Ed. would take him another two years. Ring Shopping is in full effect. I am really getting in to the science of them. I may just become a jeweler in my spare time!! Do not fear the diamonds, my friend. I have a new address: PO Box 5492, Still in Morton. If you want to send me snail mail and be assured that no one else will read it, send to that address. I have had some trouble receiving mail that has already been opened. I have also been informed that some of my mail has been withheld from my viewing. So the quick fix is get a PO Box. For those of you interested in my work: Stellar System's web page is here. The old Stellar Systems web page is here. Let me know if I made a big improvement. Other web pages that i have worked on are: diCaro Enterprises and Coyle Insurance Agency 1/31/2000: Bob finally updated his web page with some wedding pictures! Check them out. I hope he puts more up. I also have some wedding photos and misc photos that I would like to put up soon. I just got to find the time! 1/28/2000: Well folks, live in the midwest has been pretty normal for me in the last couple weeks. Last weekend Angela and I went out with Bag and Jennifer, Pat and Lori, Chad and Sarah, and Jeremy Cook. It was really fun. We ate at Bennigans and then went to the comedy club. I hope that we do it again sometime, soon. The weekend before that, I played computer games, cards for money (and won!!) and board games. Pretty fun if you ask me, but I am sure that you big city folk might consider that boring. But guess what - it is cheap and I get to hang out with friends! At work I have been doing marketing materials for the program that I am in charge of. I made a mailing list of local companies and created a package to mail to them. I had to lick 41 envelopes! That sucked! Then came the fun part. I got to do a web page for the program. I think I did a pretty good job! My boss also must have thought that it was good, because he had me redo Stellar Systems web page. Check it out and tell me what you think. I would greatly appreciate some input!! Another note - Today is my Grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversary!! That would be the Hopwood side for all of you that know that family. I would like to congratulate them. Congratulations Bob and Doris Hopwood!!PS - Want more posts?...Send more news! 1/10/2000: I hope everyone had a good New Year. My party went OK. I think every one had a good time. There were a few minor incidents but in general the night went smooth. It wouldn't have been a good new years eve party if there wasn't some funky experiences. A few minors, some drunks, broken stuff all add up to an interesting time for the host. I won the Football Picks!! I came back from a ten game deficit to beat out troy in the last week. OK - so our records are the same, but who holds the higher rank??? OH yeah...Who's your Daddy?? Just in case some of you didn't get to see the final standings.... I hope we can get a bigger group next year!! Later, Gilly |
